Star Wars Battlefront 2 receives its next major content update April 18, featuring a limited-time mode and dozens of skins. The Night On Endor update, as it is called, isn't quite Season 2 but should keep fans busy until Season 2 begins next month. An official forum post offers the full details.

Ewok Hunt Limited-Time Mode
- Play as Ewoks and try to take the Tower Moon of Endor in the dead of night.
- The battle consists of Stormtroopers and Ewoks. When Stormtroopers die, they respawn as Ewoks.
- The Empire wins if they can survive the assault until Evacuation arrives.
Skins
- Over 50 skins, called Appearances, will be made available for Heroes and troopers alike.
- Appearances can be purchased with Crystals (real money) or Credits (in-game).
- Appearances in the April update include
- Wounded Chewbacca, with Arm Patch
- Scarred Kylo Ren, Patch over Scar
- Administrator Lando, Bespin
- Commander Iden, no Helmet
- Hooded Yoda, pulled up Hood
- Endor Leia
- Endor Han
- Ahch-To Rey
- New Officer Appearance for First Order and Empire
- Appearances for all Rebel classes and special units
- Heavy Zabrak
- Duros Officer
Game & Balance Changes
- Crafting Points can convert to Skill Points. Forty Parts equals one point.
- If you win a round, you'll now receive more Credits.
- Iden's Stun Droid won't have a double stun, and stun duration has increased from 0.5 seconds to 0.9 seconds.
- Improved melee responsiveness for all weapons to reduce latency.
If you've made it this far down the list, you've likely noticed there are no mentions of Season 2 content. In the source post, EA clarified that seasons will be less frequent and based on anniversaries or film releases. Title updates, like the one described above, will be the primary way Star Wars Battlefront 2 expands in the future. Star Wars Day is just a few weeks away on May 4, EA has confirmed Season 2 will go live next month. More info about its specific contents will become available closer to launch.
The Night On Endor update will be Battlefront 2's largest content addition since Finn and Captain Phasma were added to the game in December. The features may not be as earth-shattering as March's Progression Update, but there's still plenty here to be excited about.
