Roadies: Real Heroes is the sixteenth season of Indian reality show MTV Roadies. Roadies Real Heroes started to air on MTV from 10 February; returning Gang Leaders include Prince Narula, Nikhil Chinapa, Neha Dhupia and Raftaar and joined by the newest addition of Sandeep Singh.^[1][2]Rannvijay Singh continues to serve as a mentor and host. Divya Agarwal and Varun Sood will play the role of Roadies Insiders. Baseer Ali will host the Voot segments yet again, this time joined by Shruti Sinha. Auditions were held in four cities including Delhi, Chandigarh, Indore and Pune.

Auditions Episode 1 to 7[edit]

This season the contestants had to get at least four votes from the Gang Leaders and as a twist Rannvijay had a special power which led to the selection of the contestant straight for the journey. He also had the right to a vote if he wanted the contestant to proceed to the next round.

Battleground[edit]

It is an online selection process in which participants are given various tasks to perform in order to get shortlisted. Four contestants namely Arun, Chopsey, Rahul and Rashmeet were shortlisted for the final battle to earn a chance on the roadies journey. They all entered in episode 20 where they battled in a gang task and individually for a spot in the journey.

Arun won the gang task and joined in, while Rashmeet won against Nikita in individual task to come on the journey.

Journey - Munnar Episode 9 to 15[edit]

• 1st Task: Rescue Your Gangleader Before the Task began, Gang Leader's had to vote to give a disadvantage to 1 Gang Leader.

With 2 votes, Prince got the disadvantage. The disadvantage was that Prince has to come first in this Task.

Roadies had to recuse their choice of Gang Leader, the first 2 to be free will win the Task.

Prince and Raftaar won the task in 1st and 2nd places respectively.

• 2nd Task: Rasam Ki Rasam Before the Task, the Real Heroes got to choose their Gang. The winners of the 1st Task competed in this Task.

Prince & Raftaar had to choose 5 roadies to compete in the Task, including their already existing Gang members.

Raftaar won the task and got chance to fill his gangHe choosed Xerxes and Aarushi in his team.

• 3rd Task: Rollungi Before the Task, the unsafe Roadies had to divide themselves in 2 teams.

One member from one gang will be in a cage and he/she has to roll the cage and break the pots. The balls will come out when the pots will break another member will collect them and pass wo two of their team members who have tennis rackets in their hand .

They will try to hit the ball to opponents nets. Three boys will be wearing lungi and protecting their nets from other teams balls. The team who has hit more balls to nets will win.

Team A won the task and were immune.

• 4th Task: Padhai Aur Pitaai Gang Leaders had to choose 1 roadie from the losing team in 3rd Task to compete in the Task, including 1 of their already existing Gang members.

They have to solve some mathematical equations in which some hints will be missing and those hints will be in a pot. One of the members will go into the ring and break those pots by skilled kalaripayattu warriors who will be constantly moving sticks and will be blindfolded

They have to break those pots by those Kalaripayattu artists and collect the missing objects to solve the equation. The team which will solve first will win.

Neha and Prince won the task in 1st and 2nd places respectively.

As Neha won the Task, she had a special power to choose 1 Roadie into her gang. She chose Tara. And to send 1 Roadie into another gang of her choice. She chose Tarun to go in Sandeep's Gang.

As Prince came in 2nd Place in the Task, he had the power to choose 1 Roadie into his gang. He chose Ankita.

• 5th Task: Hunt to Survive Before the Task, the 12 unsafe Roadies had to divide themselves in 3 teams.They have to find some clues from the local market and then solve the obstacles and collect flags. The team who will collect two flags will win.

Team C won the task and were immune.

• 6th Task: Relay Jee Le All the gang leaders had to choose a team of 4 roadies including at least 2 from their existing gang (except Sandeep who only had Tarun in his gang.)

Sandeep was out first. Then Raftaar and finally Neha was out of task. Nikhil made Prince out of race and won it.Nikhil and Prince won this task as in 1st and 2nd place respectively.

As Nikhil won the Task, he got the power to complete his gang from the winners of the previous Task (Team C) He chose Lakshya, Priya and Simran.

As Prince came in 2nd place in the Task, he had the power to complete his gang from the remaining members of (Team C) and the unsafe roadies. He chose Gaurav and Yukti.

After the vote out of preeti Sandeep and Neha has to fill their female rodie spots in their gangs. Sandeep chose first Sahiba and Chetna and Neha was default to pick the last one Pooja.

After the vote out of Krishna gang leaders blocked Sohil to get into any gang as a power given to them. So Ashish went into Sandeep's gang.

In the last Rannvijay played the joker card and declared Sohil as Joker and said that he'll join the in the journey not in any gang but with him. And he'll join any gang on some task as per the rule of that specific task.

Journey - Alleppey Episode 16 to 19[edit]

• 7th Task: Ghayal Dummy Before the Task began, Gang Leader's had to vote for 1 Gang Leader, who should not compete in this Task.

With 3 votes, Gang Nikhil did not get to compete in this Task. But Nikhil got to decide the order of performance of Gangs.

The Dummy in each Gang would automatically become Immune.

Sohil as Joker got the chance to choose a Gang to compete with. But if that Gang wins, the Joker will steal an Immunity from the Gang.

Gang Prince won the Task and won Immunity for the entire Gang.

• 8th Task: Swiggy Three Course Meal

As Gang Prince won immunity in the last task, they would not participate in this task. But Prince got to decide the order of performance of Gangs.

Gang Sandeep won the task and got 2 immunities.

• 9th Task: Entertainment Task

In this task, the gangs along with their gang leaders has to perform an act which must include some of the south Indian movies special scenes. Divya Agrawal joined as the chief judge along with host Rannvijay. The joker had a choice to perform for any gang and he chose Raftaar's gang. Nikhil's gang performed first followed by Raftaar, Neha, Prince and Sandeep. The winner of this task will win immunity for the entire Gang.

Gang Raftaar won the task and won the immunities for the whole team including the Joker Sohil as he was also performing for gang Raftaar.

• 10th Task: Dingi Hopp

In the task each one member from each gang had to perform this task. That roadie has to collect all the flags from four small boats called Dingi which will be moving in water by a speed boat. The roadie has to jump from one dingi to other and collect all the flags along with their carrebina. The team which have collected more flags will win.

Before the start of task each gang leader has the power to deduct one flag from his teams collected flags.

Raftaar being winner of last task didn't performed in this task. Nikhil with two disadvantages lost two flags from his collected flags while rest got one flags deducted.

Gang Neha won the task and won two immunities. Gang Prince came second and won one immunity.

Neha gave immunities two Milind and Tara while Prince gave immunity to Bidhan.The non immune rodies voted out pooja while the safe rodies voted out Tarun as a replacement for Sohil.

Pooja was voted out, while Tarun was replaced by the joker Sohil who joined Sandeep's gang.

Journey - Wayanad Episode 20 to 22[edit]

• 11th Task: Battle Ground Final

Rashmeet, Arun, Choupsy and Rahul entered as Battle Ground Finalists. ^[3]

In the task the Battle ground Finalists had to choose one gang to perform this task. That Battle ground Finalist & Gang has to collect rice from the Local houses in the expense of some objects provided to them. The Gang that comes first will get Full Gang Immunity & Battle ground Finalist that comes first will get a direct entry. The Battle ground Finalist that comes second & third will have to compete again. And Battle ground Finalist that comes fourth will get Eliminated.

Before the start of task each Battle ground Finalist has the guess the price of a car from droom.in the closest guess will get an Advantage.

Rashmeet guessed the closest and as the advantage she and her gang had to collect 5 kgs of rice. Arun & Chopsy guessed 2nd closest and had to collect 6 kgs of rice both. And Rahul and his gang had to collect 7 kgs of rice.

Arun won the task and got a direct entry into the Roadies Journey and Gang Prince won full gang immunity, while Rahul came in fourth & got Eliminated.

Rashmeet & Chopsy came second & third and had to challenge 1 non-immune Roadie.

Rashmeet won the task against Nikita and entered the Roadies Journey, while Aadil won the task & got immune and Choupsy got Eliminated.

• 12th Task: Puzzle Hustle

In this task the gangs had to pair up with another gang to perform the task. Neha paired up with Sandeep while Nikhil paired up with Raftaar.

In the task the teams has to solve one puzzle whose parts are hanging above on ropes and some in water. They had to collect them all and solve that puzzle in water. While doing so one of the opposing gang leader had a bow and arrows to knock off the rivals puzzle.

Team Neha and Sandeep won the task and got three immunities.

Neha gave immunity to Tara and Sandeep gave immunity to Sahiba and Ashish.

Based on their choice of preference both Battleground winners were assigned to their gangs, Arun's first preference was gang Prince and since it was full he went with his second preference and chose gang Raftaar and Rashmeet as first preference choosed gang Neha and joined them.

In the inter gang vote-out Priya,Chetna and Nikita got voted out

• 13th Task: Pol kholo

In this task the gang leaders has to guess to the question about the roadies asked by Ranvijay. All the roadies have three lifeline. If the gang leaders gets the answer right he can take one lifeline of any two roadies of other gang. If he gets the answer wrong then he has to take one lifeline of one roadie from his own gang. The roadie whose lifeline will be available till the last of the task will be immune.

Except those rodies who were immune in last task get directly into the auction pole. The gang leaders can buy them using tamul. Prince coming 1st in last task got 180 tamuls, Sandeep got 160, Raftaar got 140, Neha got 120 and Nikhil got 100 tamuls to use as bid. The gang leader who bids highest will take the rodie but they can only take maximum two members from their previous team and not more than two boys or two girls are allowed in one gang.Gangs after auction is mentioned in Gangs part below

• ^1 - Instead of Raftaar, his gang was given the power to save any of the roadies in danger and eliminate the votes against him/her, they chose Pooja. So all the votes against her were not counted.
• ^2 - The gang leaders except Sandeep voted to block one of the non immune boys from joining his gang.
• ^3 - Neha's vote to block Krishna did not count as he was already Voted-out.
• ^4 - Sohil being the only contestant remained without a gang, became the Joker, where he would play on any of the gang leader team until he earned his place in a gang or was voted out. It was in episode 19 where he replaced Tarun to join Sandeep gang.
• ^5 - There were 2 rounds of vote-out, first the non-immune roadies voted to vote-out an roadie and in second round the immune roadies did the same but as a replacement for the joker.
• ^6 - Bhargsethu was unwell so she was absent from that vote-out session.
• ^7 - This was a triple internal gang vote-out, the non immnue roadies nominated a person from within the gang to be voted-out. And then the immnue gang had the power to save 1 person from being voted out.
