Stalker Coc Sell Damaged Weapons
So I just bought Stalker on Steam. I've played it for a little bit and took on the mission to kill the mutants at a farm. I did so, and returned to the original camp. They were under attack by a couple of military guys. I couldn't speak with the person who gave me the mission to ask for my reward because he was fighting them.
I tried fighting them, but the weapons in this game are hopelessly broken. They're less accurate than the initial Battlefield 2 release. From 50 meters away, crouched, and using the iron sights, I can't kill one guy with an entire clip from the AKM74 in single shot mode. I can't get any closer without dying instantly. If I ignore them, the two sides shoot at each other aimlessly for several minutes and I fail the mission.
Are there any mods that fix the weapon accuracy in Stalker, or did I just waste $30?

Is there a way to sell items without repairing them? Okay, I finished playing Clear Sky so I decided to try out pripyat, but when I go to sell any weapons is says that they are too damaged to trade. I know that I can pay to have them repaired but by the time I do this I'm barely making money and it's a damn pain to have to do it. List of weaponry, ammunition and related accessories featured in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Unique variants are double spaced, unless stated otherwise. The weapon's real life name is in the parenthesis beside the links.
