Good day,
As per subject, would anyone know if this can be done? I, seem, have a problem with disk mbr not being restored when restoring mbr image in uefi mode. I switch the unit back to BIOS mode and it doesn't boot.
An Invalid Policy Is Configured On The Vm Which Is Preventing Snapshot Operation.
If I restore image in BIOS mode, everything works.
You may wonder why be in uefi mode, but it needs to be that way. Also I don't see the reason why mbr cannot be restored in uefi mode.
Thanks in advance.
More info:
In UEFI mode:
Running: ocs-install-grub -p 'sda1 sda2 ' auto
The grub directory is NOT found. Maybe it does not exist (so other boot manager exists) or the file system is not supported in the kernel. Skip running grub-install.
In BIOS mode:
Running: ocs-install-grub -p 'sda1 sda2 ' auto
Found grub partition: /dev/sda1
Found grub partition '/dev/sda1', which is on the restored partitions list (sda1 sda2 ). Will run grub-install later.
Same image...
